  19. If you change the NonPagedPool value in the Registry database to a
  20. value greater than one third of the physical memory (RAM) on your
  21. computer the following behavior occurs:
  22.  
  23.  - RISC-based computers no longer boot.
  24.  - x86-based computers continuously reboot.

  29. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
  30. Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S.
  31. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. For
  32. information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in
  33. the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
